Model Answer:
It has long been argued that the financial education should be made a mandatory component of the school program as our surroundings is much into financial aspects. Some people strongly support this statement while some think that it is not necessary. I believe to a certain extent that monetary education is crucial and should be implemented in the school curriculum; however, the other side is equally considerable.
To begin with, many believe that implementing monetary education in school programs will disadvantage many students because it might not be their suitable age to understand the business education. Moreover, they argue that children, in their school days, should be taught basic education that are essential to understand the general environment. Understanding commerce is complex, thus should be promoted only after finishing school levels, they say.
The same education, on the other hand, could have many advantages if taught during school days. As it is undeniable that money plays a vital role in today’s modernized world, it is crucial that students develop their commercial knowledge from their early age. This will help them not only to understand the financial ideas but also make them confident to cope with the daily financial environment. For instance, business education in my school days helped me understand the value of money and how it works.
In conclusion, I somewhat believe that financial education in school programs is crucial as it promotes the students’ ability to understand and implement daily business environment. Although, financial education could be very tough and complex for school students, it can be minimized by putting basic monetary lessons and emphasizing interesting way of learning like audio and video lessons.
